gums bad breath
My cat has red gums and bad breath. What could be the problem?

I have a Siamese cat of 10 months which has bright red, the gums and bad breath. I have taken several times to the vet and the vet is baffled. The kitten does not seem to eat any inconvenience. We gave lysine. Their teeth are white pearls. We tested for FeLV and FIV. Both were negative. I have three cats are all indoor cats. It is the only presenting symptoms. Any idea what this could it be?

For two reasons. Bartonella Gingivitus minor or viruses. There is a specific test for the virus, and dental gingivitus can happen.
